Is Today's Political Situations Affecting Our Music?
From Generation to Generation, there can be certain musicans and songs which highlight the period or belief of the people. For example songs such as 'Blowing in the wind' by Bob Dylan and 'imagine' by John Lennon. In today's society where terrorism and war are becoming more appranet on our Tv screens and radio waves, could the spirit of the 60's of peace and love happen again?

As a reviewest of music i look at music such as American idiot by Green Day, time like these by Foo Fighters and think that maybe Politics and music are going hand by hand in the way many songs are written. Could this be different to the way music was political in the 60's maybe, but if bands look at examples as jimi hendirx, crosby stills and nash, neil young and the doors maybe we could all again give peace a chance.
